

Dr Tariq Al-Naeem
Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors
Dr. Tariq Al-Naeem is the Chief Executive Officer of the Water Transmission and Technologies Company (WTTCO), a government-owned company actively engaged in the development, investment, and operation of water infrastructure projects under Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and privatization frameworks. He also serves as Chairman of the Board at Liva Insurance KSA, Vice Chairman of the Perfect Presentation (2P) Company, and as a Board Member at Abdul Latif Jameel Enterprises.
Previously, Dr. Al-Naeem held various senior leadership positions, including Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Commerce & Investment, Board Member and CEO of Medgulf Insurance, and Board Commissioner at the Capital Market Authority (CMA). He also held multiple executive roles in the financial services sector, including General Manager of Asset Services at the Saudi Exchange, General Manager of Strategy at AlRajhi Bank, and worked in the Payment Systems Department at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales in Australia, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from King Saud University.

Dr. Roland Bellegarde

Dr. Roland Bellegarde is currently the Advisor to the CEO at Saudi Tadawul Group. He also serves as a Board Member of the Saudi Exchange Company and the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa).
He was a member of the NYSE-Euronext management Committee from 2007 to 2014 and served as Group Executive Vice-President in charge of European Equities and Listings. His mandate extended to cover domestic and International Listings, Equity and Index derivatives, Index business development, structured products, as well as market operations.
He previously also acted as Chairman of SmartPool (Block trading platform), Board Member of LIFFE AM, Qatar Exchange, Clearnet SA, as well as Interbosla (Portuguese CSD).
Dr. Bellegarde has a PhD degree in Treasury Finance Banking from the Sorbonne University in France.
Eng. Khalid Abdullah Al-Hussan

Eng. Khalid Abdullah AlHussan is a Board member and the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Tadawul Group. He also serves as the Chairman of the Saudi Exchange, the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), Wamid, an applied technology services business and the innovation arm of Saudi Tadawul Group and STG Investment Holdings Company. Additionally, Eng. AlHussan is a board member in the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), Tadawul Real Estate Company, E-Finance for Digital and Financial Investments and Gulf Mercantile Exchange.
Eng. AlHussan has more than 17 years of capital market and financial sector experience and possesses a wide range of expertise from business development and corporate planning to strategy and operations. Preceding his appointment as CEO of the Group, Eng. AlHussan was the CEO of The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) - now known as the Saudi Exchange - for more than 5 years.
Throughout his tenure at the Exchange, Eng. AlHussan has overseen the introduction and implementation of several key development programs, including the Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI) framework, the inclusion of Tadawul in the emerging markets’ indices, the launch of Nomu and the derivative markets, the development of the fixed income market and the record-setting IPO of Saudi Aramco. Notably and most recently, led the transformation into the Saudi Tadawul Group.
Prior to joining the Exchange, Eng. AlHussan worked in the insurance sector, managing areas of business product development and strategy.
Khalid is an engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado, where he is also a certified entrepreneur.

Mr. Adel Ibrahim Al-Ateeq

Adel Al-Ateeq is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Awaed Al Osool Capital. He currently also serves as a Board Member of Boudl Hotels and Resorts, Al Majal Al Arabi, Abdul Latif Jameel Enterprises, Riyadh Valley and Taibah Valley. Al-Ateeq is also a founding member of the Saudi Arabia Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCPEA) and a member of its Board of Directors.
Previously, he held several senior leadership positions, including serving as CEO of Riyad Capital, and held roles at Riyad Bank and the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jada Fund of Funds Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Additionally, he played a key role in founding several investment funds, including Riyad REIT, the first real estate investment trust listed on the Saudi Exchange, and Riyad Taqnia Fund, the first venture capital fund in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ateeq holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, along with several undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, including Executive Leadership Programs from Stanford University and London Business School.

Mr. Rajiv Shukla
Member of the Board of Directors
Mr. Shukla is a Senior Partner at Marco Partners in Saudi Arabia, having joined from HSBC where he worked for nearly two decades in the Middle East. At HSBC, Mr. Shukla held several senior positions, including CEO of HSBC Saudi Arabia, Senior Managing Director & Advisor to the Regional CEO, Head of Global Banking & Markets for HSBC Saudi Arabia, and Head of Debt Capital Markets for the MENA region. He played a critical role in shaping the bank’s regional operations. Before joining HSBC, Mr. Shukla gained valuable experience at Citibank in Asia Pacific and prior to this Tata Group in India.
In addition to his role with EDAA, Mr. Shukla is an independent director on the board of Saudi Real Estate Refinancing Company (SRC), serves as a non-executive advisor to, and as a director on the board of CMi Merryck Middle East, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Saudi Indian Business Network.
Mr. Shukla holds a degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management.

Mr. Wael Abdullah Al-Hazzani

Mr. Wael bin Abdullah Al-Hazzani currently holds the position of CEO of the Saudi Securities Clearing Center (Muqassa), a role he has held since the company's establishment in May 2018.
"Muqassa" is considered one of the key pillars in the development of the Saudi financial market, as it is the only licensed entity to operate as a clearing house for both sides of trading transactions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, "Muqassa" is part of the Saudi Stock Exchange Group (Tadawul), one of the vital companies that represent a core part of the initiatives under the Financial Sector Development Program, reflecting the group's commitment to achieving Saudi Vision 2030.
Mr. Wael Abdullah AlHazzani has over 20 years of professional experience, during which he held several leadership positions at the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in the past. His last positions included Director of Settlement and Clearing, and General Manager of the Post-Trade Transformation Program, where he played an active role in developing and improving post-trade operations.
Furthermore, Mr. Wael has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Exchange. And a member of the Board of Directors at Tadawul Investment Company, and Chairman for Risk Committee at "Wamid", and has been a member of the Risk Management Committees at both "Edaa" and "Saudi Exchange"
In 2020, Mr. Wael significantly contributed to facilitating the launch of the first derivatives market in Saudi Arabia. In April 2022, he also successfully led the implementation of a set of improvements, the largest of their kind in the history of the Saudi financial market, through the Post-Trade Transformation Program.
These improvements aim to enhance investment opportunities and increase access to a variety of financial instruments, as well as offer new products that facilitate the access of both local and international investors to innovative financial instruments. These initiatives also aim to strengthen the post-trade infrastructure, increase its efficiency, and support market participants in developing and offering a wide range of products and services.
Academically, Mr. Wael holds a Master's degree in Finance and Business Administration, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. He holds an Executive Management certificate from Harvard, as well as professional certifications from other prestigious global institutions, including INSEAD, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), and others.

Mrs. Hanan Alshehri

Mrs. Hanan is a Board member and the CEO of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa). She also serves as a Board member of the Saudi Exchange Company. Mrs. Hanan has over 13 years of experience in the Investment Sector and product development and has held several roles and leadership positions, most recently as the Chief of Business Development at Edaa.
In addition to her role at Edaa, Hanan is a board member of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM) and the Capital Market Institutions Committee.

She holds a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Science of Information Systems from Prince Sultan University.
In 2023, Hanan obtained an Executive Leadership Development certification at Stanford Business School.

Mr. Bandar Al Kahail
Chief of Business Development
Bandar brings over 15 years of financial sector expertise, he joined Edaa in 2017 as Custody Manager, quickly advancing through Operations and Business Development roles to his current position as Chief of Business Development. With a rich background in the financial markets, including notable tenures at Morgan Stanley and Barclays, Bandar brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role.
Holdings a Master of Science degree in Computing for Financial Markets from the University of Stirling, UK, and backed by various executive leadership certificates, Bandar's dynamic skill set reflects a commitment to growth and excellence. His strategic acumen benefits both Edaa and the broader financial landscape, where he actively contributes to leadership roles.
Mr. Waiel Al Rashed
Chief Operations Officer
Waiel began his career with Edaa Since it started practicing its services in January 2017. Prior to that, Waiel took executive roles in the Saudi Stock Exchange (“Tadawul”) since he joined in 2008, the last position he held was Head of Securities Depository Center Department. Previously Waiel worked for eight years at Al-Rashed Consultants & CPAs.
Waiel is an administrative and advisory expert with over than 18 years of experience in leading professional and financial Corporations with a Bachelor of Business Administration & Diploma in Computer Operations from USA. Waiel is recognized for Change & projects management, operational and managerial Solutions implementation/execution.
Mrs. Deema Al Haidar
Corporate Support Head
Deema has more than 15 years of experience, during which she led various roles and responsibilities in several areas, including corporate banking, managing members and foreign investors relations, in addition to regulatory supervision and governance.
Deema holds several professional certifications from various respectable institutions specialized in management and leadership. She also obtained executive certificates from Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Deema holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.
